07.23.06

Whoa there... when was the last time I posted something on here?

Oh, right. On the 7th.

Of last month.

Silly me.

But, oh, yo, hello there! How's life?

Mine? Well-- it's been really warm.

And in case you were wondering (because, hey, I know I was), if given the choice, I'd much rather be cold than hot.

"Por que?" you might not be asking yourself? Well, I figure that I could always find ways to warm myself up.

Plus, most things taste better cold/frozen than burnt/disintegrated.

If you've been trying to contact me by text-- my apologies. My phone isn't acting right. Either that or I decided to stop being a text-whore and cancel my texting. Flip a coin.

And if you call and I don't answer-- please leave a voicemail because sometimes, you're under an unknown number and when I check my missed calls, you're still that-- an unknown.

And no one wants to be an unknown. That'd just be disheartening.

You know what sucks?

When you need to use the bathroom-- but the water's shut off because you're also fixing that toilet you desperately need to use.

Secondly, I have jurt duty to report to. Blah gah gah!

Important note #1: Civic duty and voter turnouts have gotten so bad and America is falling prey to pop culture and instant gratification more and more each year that Arizona has proposed a bill that would enter voters in a million dollar lottery for every voting period.

Important note #1B: Tucson, Arizona is not pronounced "Tuc-Son", but rather "Two-San".

So, it's really warm out here-- kind of makes you want to see An Inconvenient Truth

...or Snakes On A Plane.

One of the two. I don't know.

And it's been over a month into my summer and all I've done is work.

Anyhow, I was freestyling in the car the other day on my way home from work and it occured to me that I'm a horrible rapper (among other things-- but you knew that already) and that I should stop immediately.

But I didn't.

What a twist! M. Night Shmayallamalan should certainly take a page from my book.

Speaking of the flow, I have this friend who goes by the name of Midas. Look him up on MySpace and ask to get a copy of his rhyming MixCD. Holla front!

Important note #2: I believe that Twista developed his fat-rhyming style about love-making by being a broke/low-cash brother who was determined to get as much bang (haha, get it?-- well, you haven't hit the punchline yet) for his buck out of phone-sex hotlines that charge an arm and a leg per minute.

S0, I haven't started a writing or an art project in a little under a year.

But I will soon-- I have an empty room and an empty house to design. OoOoWeE!

Maybe I could start doing commissions-- that'd certainly make me delve back into artistry?

Of the various types of people in this world, this is might be topping the list:

There are those who live life trying to define theirs and those that live life trying to enrich theirs.

Bragging and telling empowered stories about yourself are clear indicators of a few things-- mainly insecurity and the high possibility that those things never occured.

More respect is given out to those that do what they do and only speak of it every now and then.

Actions, events and instances garner more cultural capitalism than any other method.

Important note #3: I don't believe you're in a justified position to complain about something unless you're at least trying to do something about it.

So, how 'bout those Hezbollah?

Important note #4: I was beginning to think that the term "tasteless joke" originated because people would get slapped so hard for them that they couldn't taste anything.

I'm going to be one fo three dance coordinators next year for Urban.

Weird...

Let's see how that goes (or, better yet, how long that lasts).

Nonetheless, come on out to SB to visit and watch us perform. It'll be fire-- I guarantee it.

Important note #5: Some people say the "Big Man Upstairs" is a stalwart, majestic being that shows a lack of humor. I disagree, because as someone once pointed out, we flatulate-- how could mankind possibly have invented it?

Nice is different than good.

I still enjoy Dr Pepper.

Sometimes, it's the little things-- remember that.

Peace easy.

Docking out...
