It was the end of a summer reminiscent of another--
elusive, tangled, complex and full of uncertainty and whiplashes.
But he knew how it would all end.
He saw every aspect, every detail.
He knew before the game even began--
how everything would crumble.
Yet, he repeated a mistake he hadn't for a long time, letting optimism deter him from reality and what was best.
He made a wrong all-in maneuver and bluffed himself out of the pot.
It stirred within him, an emotion he wasn't accustomed to and was never really fond of.
He hadn't been angry in years.
It was the end of a summer reminiscent of another.
