Being drunk is no excuse to act like a belligerent cretin.

Of all things in the world, nothing irritates more me than the sexually-driven antics of the male population towards ladies that obviously aren't interested.

No, she is not playing hard to get.

No, you shouldn't pursue any further.

No, you shouldn't take out your frustrations on inanimate objects in a home you're not a part of.

No, I will not forgive you when you're sober for the imbecilic things you did when you were inebriated.

Never disrespect me or any women in my presence.

Call me old-fashioned.

You should know better.

01.16.07

You can't always be saying that you "live everyday to the fullest", 'cause if you did you'd be doing some crazy ish everyday.

You could live life to the fullest.

But not everyday. Not really.

I cannot focus at the moment.

Don't know why.

Appreciate it for what it is. You don't have to go any further than that if you don't want to.

For the most part, men are creatures of habit, hope and possibility.

They take some comfort knowing that there are options available.

So, when you liken them to a sibling or a parental figure, you are eliminating chances and ultimately, them.

Even if they know that that dotted line is there, they'll still imagine being able to change up their game on your defense.

So, be careful when you fill in those lines and bold those boundaries, because you may end up decimating the ardor of a man.

Do you think you're good?

Or do you know you're good?

There's a fine difference between the two.

In thinking you're good, comes ego, uncertainty and exhaustion.

In knowing you're good, you have clarity, serenity and reservation.

You have to know you're good.

Otherwise, you'll spend too much time trying to prove something.

Always trust a lefty.

They're in their right mind.

You need to let it go and I'll tell you why.

Let me tell you about this girl...

She doesn't know it, but the words she says could kill a man. Or maybe she does-- she just doesn't like to admit it.

I'm gonna go with the latter.

She's amiable and adorable-- one that you'd rather just hold in your arms and make smile because those radiant enamels are capable of manipulating time and space, reminiscent of the Matrix.

She could stop bullets with just the jovial sparkles in her eyes.

She's the kind of girl that has a lot of guy friends who initially befriended her because of affectionate notions. As it were, those crushes quickly faded, though they didn't die out completely. Rather, they would become suppressed and witheld, turning the situation into more of a friendship with hope-- that perhaps one day she might tap into those resources left in the heart of a man and allow the exchanges of her love.

Or maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps they were being genuinely friendly-- I don't know.

I do know, however, that beauty, intelligence, kindness and presence (especially presence) will sloth the thought process of any man-- generally speaking, of course.

And that's why I think, whether or not they were aware of it, every conversation, every joke and every moment of aid was an unconscious attempt to win some favor and hopefully amass some inkling of reciprocation from this girl.

I mean, in making her happy, they were, in a way, selfishly trying to fulfill their own desires.

But you can't fault her. Nor could you fault them.

Well, depending-- though she wasn't manipulative or facetious about it, some may argue that she led some guys on (I personally maintain that most of the time, guys lead themselves on-- one should be able to read such things).

The fellas? Like I said-- their intentions were highly debatable.

She is what they call an "Alpha Female - Type B".

..that Type B being the nicer of the two. Lucky you.

Her most compatible match? An Alpha Male of any type (there's three types-- I'll indulge you some other time).

That's not to say that the rest of the pack doesn't hold a chance with her-- it's just that they'd really have to work at it.

A woman of her type usually does the chasing.

And that's why I suggest the drop, because like I said earlier-- I believe most guys lead themselves on and I don't want you building yourself up for something that you might not attain.

Just peace easy.

01.05.07

And down goes another.

Sometimes, I feel that time doesn't always move at a constant.

Every generation's "growth into maturity" begins earlier and earlier.

The more I think I know about the world and its population, the more it changes.

Growing up, I always viewed all the older cats as busy.

Now, we've reached that point.

Work and academics eat up so much of our time that we have to plan most events of comradery instead of keeping it spontaneous like back in the day.

It's strange to think how all of our peers are at different stages in their lives.

Then factor in not just your friends from school, but all the people at whatever area you're at in your life now--

it's mind-blowing to think that so much can be happening at once all over the globe within your age range.

Drive slow, homie.

Time waits for no one and it moves forward eternally.

Why try and speed it up?

You should live at the speed of life--

not any faster.

All-in twice since the new year and I'm 0/2.

I've gotta be more careful with this one.

It's hard not to be a chameleon.

Not everyone likes to be on speaker-phone.

Take a second and imagine if you treated everyone the same way you treat your body--

you'll get most of the answers you need.

Keep the ambiance a jovial one whenever possible.

Uncertainty's not always fun, but it can always be exciting if you let it.
