"My roomie and I are going to CostCo."

Generally accepted statement, yeah?

Question: if a roommate's a roomie, what's a suitemate?

Now replace subjects.

Generally accepted statement, yeah?

Then why'd everyone look at me funny?

"AAAAHHHHH! I LOST MY "I"! IT JUST FELL OUT!"

It sounds funny when yelled out of context and out your dorm room.

My keyboard looks funny now.

So, I have a million dollars.

I buy some gum for, let's say, fifty cents.

How much money do I have left?

A million dollars.

It doesn't really matter.

But you're right.

I did steal it.

You know me too well.

01.19.06

So, you know how most people like to watch TV or a movie with the lights off?

It's a perfectly natural thing--

Something that gives off light, it just looks better when it's contrasted with the dark.

Admit it, you do it too.

Well, recent studies show that it's actually bad for your eyesight.

It's bad for you, and now you know.

But what are the chances that you're going to watch with the lights on all the time?

Point taken, it turns out that there are many in this world who live in this way.

There's something deep inside that haunts them, emitting a faint glow far in their psyche.

What caused this spark, this little flare of despair, could have been anything--

witness to a tragedy, rejection from something that was important to them.

Whatever it was, it stirred something within that person, creating situations in which they could not let go.

And even though they may realize that feeding this tiny nuke will inevitably lead to their demise, they continue to give it attention, pouring salt into the wound.

It's not that they may not want to--

it's just insanely difficult.

Insecurities and fears put people in chokeholds and submission is the most common reaction.

One may want to help these people, but it's not that easy.

It's hit or miss.

You can only lift someone so much before they reach the top of the hurdle, wall or obstacle.

You may have the strength to push them over the top, but you don't want to do that.

That's aggressive and could lead straight into the cycle once more.

These people have to turn on the light switch for themselves.

I totally understand if one could care less.

"They're stuck in their own self-loathing. They're just seeking pity. Let them deal with it."

I just wonder what could have possibly sparked that attitude.

Seeking attention? They may be.

But that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be helped if they can be.

Even if it isn't serious, it could.

I've seen it happen too many times.

Just get over it.

If only it were that easy sometimes.

"To me, these people were as exotic as animals in a zoo. I'd never seen anything like them. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to be one of them or simply live among them talking notes and photgraphs."

You think I'm sexy.

And you're right.

I like people who wave back.

My TV makes funny noises.

'Cause, you know, you gotta jack the monkey.

Swiper, no swiping!

You ever watch the Incredibles?

You know how their son's name is Dashelle or Dash for short?

When did they name him that?

I think I'll give my kid three months without a name.

By that time, he should have a certain mannerism all his own that defines who he is.

And I'll make a clever name out of it.

"Ryan, that's terrible!"

You know what? Your face is terrible.

But I'm not complaining.

My apologies.

That was terrible.

So is world hunger.

Swiper, no swiping!

Why do people clap after watching a movie in the theater?

Write what you know in a way that you know it.

One can totally tell when it's forced.

In many aspects of life.

I'm horrible at math.

My TV just exploded.

Shhh.... it's quiet hours.

Dark blue! Dark blue!

When was the last time you looked through your yearbook?

And I would give my heart--

give you the world--

risk losing everything I've got--

because, frankly--

you're better than Dr. Pepper.

So hypnotic.

Sounded interesting, so we jumped in.

You know how sometimes you feel like no one could possibly understand what you're feeling right now?

You're wrong. As usual.

There isn't a feeling or situation out there that hasn't been well documented (multiple times, mind you) in music, poem or story.

And there's over six billion humans living in this world.

You could also, in certain events, count the animals.

'Cause even they get angry every now and then.

And they could totally relate to murder.

How hard is it to wake up every morning, tell yourself you're gonna have an awesome day and then stick with it?

Begin each day as if it were on purpose.

But with a dash of spontaneity in the end.

It's quite delicious.

It's about as delicious as an everlasting gobstopper.

What exactly is a gobstopper?

More importantly, what's a gob?

And why would we need to stop it?

Furthermore, why make a candy for it?

Did Willy Wonka, in actuality, discover a mildly harmful bacterial agent that anchors itself in the mouth and jaw region and create the only known substance to combat it?

If so, kudos to the bro, because it's a delectable cure (for sure).

Before's only there so that After can happen.

SWIPER! NO SWIPING!

Let me tell you something:

Whenever anyone is involved in a bike accident, they are not okay.

Unless it happens to them on a daily basis or they are especially fond of these events, chances are that the situation put them in enough stress to hype them up on a rush of endorphins.

Endorphins calm.

They're in need of endorphins for a reason.

If anything, they're probably angry and telling themselves that you're at fault.

You're welcome.

-Ryan : bike accident-free

You know, they didn't have to kill King Kong.

If I were mayor, I would've just staved off the military.

King Kong found a joint to stay-- the Empire State building.

King Kong wouldn't have hurt anybody.

Not with Naomi Watts to keep watch over him.

In fact, given some time, I'm sure he'd grow to like Mr. Brodie.

They could all live up there, on top of the Empire State.

And if he ever got hungry?

Well, we'd just have Mr. Kong learn to love fish.

He's right next to the harbor.

We could make him a giant fishing rod with a huge net and he could go fishing.

'Cause apes are smart.

And we could still use him as a tourist attraction.

That'd get us out of the depression.

How hard is it to add the beginning "yo" in "you"?

And happy new year.

I'm still alive.

And in school.

So, be thankful.

You can now go to sleep at night.

Cheers.

I'll see you in your dreams.
